Donaldson BOFA's intelligent operating system (iQ) provides easy access to real-time data on filter system performance.
It offers numerous improvements, such as increased filtration efficiency, monitoring of the status of individual filters and integrated design features to help reduce operating costs.
How does it work?
Advanced and intelligent iQ technology is built into the filter system. The LCD screen displays real-time data in an easy-to-read format, allowing performance and operational parameters to be monitored. This information can also be obtained remotely by downloading data via USB.
iQ features:
Temperature monitoring
Displays the temperature of the blower chamber in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit. If a high temperature is detected, the system shuts down.
Main filter status
Displays the current status of the main filter. It can signal when a filter is blocked on the 75%, allowing you to organise filter changes in advance.
Pre-filter condition
Displays the current status of the pre-filter. It can signal when the filter is blocked in the 75%, allowing you to organise pre-filter replacement in advance.
Air flow reading
Monitors and displays the airflow through the system. Information can be downloaded to optimise performance, which can help extend the life of the filter.
Turbine status
The fan icon will rotate when the blower is running, indicating that the system is working properly.
Air flow rate (target)
This allows the desired airflow rate to be set in M³/h or CFM. The iQ system will automatically increase or decrease the fan speed to maintain this target airflow.
Turbine operating hours
Displays the actual number of hours the turbine is in operation, allowing analysis of system utilisation data.
